Projects we've supported

From protecting critically endangered black rhinos from poachers in Zimbabwe to tracking penguins in the Antarctic Peninsula using cutting edge technology, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund has supported hundreds of projects around the world since it was established in 2003, all benefitting wild animals in wild places.

Since the start of 2015, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment has donated $2 to conservation charities every time a SeaWorld Parks Extra is booked here in the UK. This money has gone towards many vital conservation projects from helping scientists in South London develop a world first coral breeding programme to preserve reefs under threat in the wild, to protecting endangered species including one of the largest freshwater fish in the world.

In addition to the $14million donated to date by the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, the Fun2Fund donation programme means that by making holidays extra special, with dining options, VIP tours or up-close animal encounters, we can give back to the natural world. Take a look at some of the projects that Extras have helped fund so far…
